CLOSING STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE GROUP OF 77 AND CHINA BY CAMBODIA AT THE 14TH SESSION OF INVESTMENT, ENTERPRISE AND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
(Geneva, 26 April 2024)

Thank you Mr. President.

- At this closing, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to You, Mr. President, Vice-Chairs and rest of the bureau for the excellent work and steering the discussions with skills and dedication.

- Let me would like also to thank the Members of G77 and China, as well as colleagues from other Groups for their maximum flexibilities and constructive engagement, which has enriched our deliberations.

- Energy transition is considered as a dual opportunity to avert the climate devastation and build a more equal, just, development-oriented global economy. Effective international cooperation and policy coordination are the critical needs for developing countries in the CETMs in addition to the potential challenges

- Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our capable Secretariat team and interpreters for their invaluable assistance and devoted efforts in facilitating the success of the meeting.

- In closing, Happy Birthdays to Colleagues! Their birthdays also contribute to the agreement of this agreed conclusion.
